Day 1: | Arrival at “Zvartnots” airport new terminal, Yerevan. Transfer in a comfortable car to the hotel. City tour. Yerevan is one of the oldest cities in the world (2793 years old). Central streets and avenues of Yerevan, “Cascade” complex - a favorite leisure place of residents and guests, it connects downtown to “Haghtanak” park .Here is also the statue of “Black Cat” by renowned Colombian sculptor Fernando Botero. St. Gregory the Illuminator cathedral was built for the 1700th anniversary of adoption of Christianity as state religion, and is the largest cathedral in Yerevan. After consecration of the church, Pope John Paul II visited the Cathedral. Visit to Brandy Factory and tasting different aging cognac. You will be taken to the workshops and basements of the factory, where the secret of making "Sunny drink" will be presented to you. Lunch during the tour. Overnight at hotel. |
Day 2: | Yerevan, Garni Gegard-Yerevan Breakfast at the hotel. On the way to Garni a short stop at the “Charents Arch”, from where opens a wonderful view over Ararat valley and Mount Ararat. Garni Temple, the only extant temple in Armenia, dating to the era of paganism and Hellenism. It was devoted to the pagan god of sun- “Mithra”. The temple was built by Greek slaves in 76 B.C.It was the summer residence of Armenian kings over 4 centuries. Gegard monastery - the miracle of Armenian architecture, built in the 13th century. A unique complex of cave structures, located in a picturesque valley. Lunch during the tour. Return to Yerevan. Overnight at hotel.

Day 3: | Yerevan-Sevan-Tsakhkadzor Breakfast at the hotel. Lake Sevan - “Blue Pearl” of Armenia is the largest lake in the Caucasus and one of the largest freshwater mountainous lakes in the world. Its area - 1400 square km and is located at an altitude of 1900 m above sea level. The lake is of volcanic formation, and is surrounded by mountain ranges that reach up to 3000 m. Tsakhkadzor (“Valley of Flowers” in Armenian) is the ski capital of Armenia, situated in a picturesque wooded valley on the left bank of river Marmarik, at an altitude of 1845m above sea level. Winters abound in snow, however number of sunny days 270 per year. The ski season in Tsakhkadzor lasts about four months from mid-December to mid-March, which allows everyone to enjoy brilliant opportunities of this winter resort for a long period. Here, everything is provided for the best leisure: sports equipment rental, gym, experienced instructors, billiards, recreation centers, restaurants, cafes, etc. Up to the summit of Mount Teghenis works high speed chairlift. The first one (1137m, 1200 people /p. hour) is four-seater chairlift, the second (1458m, 800 persons /p.hour), the third (1624m, 800 persons /p.hour) and the fourth (926m, 800 persons /p. hour) are two-seater chairlifts. Recently, the fifth separate lift launched (1030m, 800 persons / p. hour). Warm seats ensure the comfort during the lift. From the top of Teghenis mountain start groomed trails at any level of complexity - 6800m of continuous drive. The total length of the route is over 30 km.
